Met Film School offers a wide range of accredited (BA, MA) and short courses in film-related disciplines. Our London campus is based within the famous Ealing Studios complex, home of renowned Ealing Comedies like Ladykillers and Passport to Pimlico and recent productions such as The Theory of Everything, The Imitation Game and Downton Abbey, among many others. We are proud that 82% of our BA graduates are currently working within the screen industry, in a rich variety of creative and professional roles from directors to editors and animators.

As well as short full-time, part-time and weekend courses in a variety of disciplines such as Filmmaking, Directing, Screenwriting, Acting, Postproduction, Animation and VFX, Producing and Cinematography.


Our graduates and current students employment support team, Met Film Futures, connects students toopportunities within the screen industries in the following ways:

  • Helps student and alumni with job opportunities, full-time contracts, internships and placements
  • Organises career workshops with professional industry guest speakers
  • Supports students by promoting their work
  • Advises on film and video strategy, festival logistics and entry requirements
  • Creates opportunities through productions for external clients such as the American Embassy, the Jamie Oliver Food Foundation, Monster and many others.

We’ve also embedded employment support right into the curriculum of our accredited courses. From day one, we provide our students with the mindset and skills to embrace all of the opportunities presented tot hem: to be entrepreneurial, employable, and industry-aware. 

Met Film Futures is led by Steve Pinhay – our Head of Screen Enterprise, the award-winning screenprofessional with over twenty-five years of experience working for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Sky, Disney and other major broadcasting and independent companies.


Student services

Students receive support by Met Go (the employment support team), their tutors and the production facilities team that offers a range of camera, lighting and sound equipment to support student projects. Experienced industry tutors and advisors help students select the most appropriate resources across a range of platforms, including film, television and new media.

Housing services

Central Studios Ealing is a stylish, all-inclusive student accommodation in Ealing, perfectly located just 3 minutes’ walk from Met Film School.

All their studio rooms are complete with comfy small double beds, sparkling en-suites, generous work spaces and stylish kitchenettes with breakfast bar.

The student union organises various social event and runs the student film club. Students also receive discounts on a range of products and services form Apple, Adobe, Curzon Cinemas, Shooting People and H&H cafes.
