History

  • The University of Lethbridge Timeline is a project that originates in the University Archives in cooperation with the University Library. It is a chronology of major milestones in the University's history from its origin in 1966 to the present.

Research

  • The Office of Research Ethics has the administrative responsibility for oversight and management of the University of Lethbridge research ethics program as it pertains to studies involving human participants and animals, and for ensuring that such research is carried out in accordance with applicable ethics regulations and statutes (provincial, federal and international).

Campus life

  • uLethbridge Calgary campus is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Calgary, just steps from the City Hall C-Train station. Our space and delivery methods are an advantage to working professionals who want to enhance their skills, credentials and earning potential while working full time.
  • Located on the west side of the city of Lethbridge, the University stretches across the coulees and has a great view of the Oldman River valley. 
  • It combines a beautiful setting with green space, gardens, and trees with high-tech facilities and classroom and research space. Spanning more than 500 acres, our campus is designed to ignite new ideas and encourage collaboration across disciplines.

Sports Stadium:

Student clubs

  • Student Government - Alumni Association, Graduate Students Association (GSA), Students' (SU), and Lethbridge Public Interest Research Group (LPIRG).

  • In May 2018, the Dhillon School of Business joined the ranks of the world’s top business schools by achieving accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACCSB) International. 
  • Of the 21 publically-funded institutions in Alberta, the Dhillon School of Business is one of three accredited. Only six per cent of business or management schools have AACSB accreditation worldwide.

The DELF-DALF Centre

  • Was accredited in 2010 by the Centre international d'études pédagogiques (CIEP) National Ministry of Education of France
