Established in 2010, the London Academy of Trading has evolved into one of the most respected providers of financial market trading education. Under the leadership of Academic Dean, Paddy Osborn, the academic faculty consists of experienced traders and analysts from some of the world’s leading institutions. The teaching focus has always been extremely practical and vocational.
Our courses are designed to help individuals improve their understanding of financial market trading with a view to career development or to supplement existing income through trading. All students can access our trading mentors ten hours every day for advice and guidance, helping them develop robust and structured trading strategies, combining theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
We are extremely flexible; learners can study around other commitments, either on our London trading floor, online, or through our blended option, combining online study with days on campus. Our courses range from two days to our accredited 12 week Level 5 Diploma in Applied Financial Trading.
Our students have achieved significant success in their career development, with past students having joined institutions such as Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Barclays, Deutsche Bank, Bank of China, Bloomberg, Reuters, and many other financial institutions, hedge funds and investment banks.

The London Academy of Trading is located in heart of London. It’s situated between Holborn Circus and Chancery Lane tube station, with many shops, banks, supermarkets, restaurants and an extensive daily food market within short walking distance.
The academy itself is accredited by the British Accreditation Council (BAC), enabling international students to study in London on Short Term Study Visas
The Level 5 Diploma in Applied Financial Trading qualification is accredited by the Association of Business Executives (ABE), regulated by Ofqual.
The diploma, and some of our short courses are also accredited by CPD.
