Hannover city life
Hannover is abundant in touristic attractions for all types of visitors; you can see many cultural sites talking about the city’s fascinating history, but you can also relax in the middle of nature as the city has some amazingly beautiful spots.

As Hannover was awarded the City of Music by the UNESCO, the city hosts two big international competitions for classical music annually and it is also considered the German Jazz city, so you can enjoy numerous concerts of many types of music.
Hannover is an important hub for sports too; sport fans can attend matches of the local football, hockey and rugby teams and cycle races.
You can relax and have fun in numerous bars, pubs and clubs.If you ever want to see more of Germany, a trip to Berlin is only about 1 hour and a half away by train, or check out Hamburg, which is only a two-hour train ride away.
International atmosphere in Hannover
The international atmosphere in Hannover is greatly influenced by the numerous international students. Many foreign born people live here, mainly: Turks, Serbs, Ukrainians, Greeks, Russians, Italians and a few from U.S., Spain, Poland, Sweden, and UK.
Hannover has an international reputation as a trade fair and conference venue, due to hosting two large fairs: CeBIT and Hannover Messe. The city records a high quality of life and an excellent environment for business. For this reason, several multinationals have set an office here.
Weather Hannover
In Hannover, you will experience four seasons, with cold winters and warm summers. The average high temperatures in the winter are 4 – 5 °C (39 – 40 °F), but they could go around freezing point or below and a lot of rain is usually recorder. In the summer, temperatures are 22 – 23 °C (73 – 74 °F), with June as the wettest month and August as the warmest one.
