This Specialized Engineering (Industrial Automation) course at IDC Technologies is designed to familiarize students with process and electrical drawings and also the basic concepts of fluid flow, including pumping and pipe sizing of a plant. After completing this course, students will have expert knowledge in process design and operation of the chemical industry.
Process engineering is at the core of chemical, oil, gas, and petrochemical industries. Throughout all stages of the design of a chemical plant, engineers of many disciplines communicate by reference to diagrams from the simple block diagram to the comprehensive engineering process line diagrams which aid in planning and fabrication of the plant.
