Overview
Argentine Culture and Language Course at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella meets five days per week for a total of 60 hours. Through a wide range of communicative and cultural activities, this course focuses on acquiring and developing fluency and linguistic sophistication.
Learning outcomes
It includes the presentation of vocabulary and syntax of the Río de la Plata region; cultural, historical, and practical information about Buenos Aires and other regions in Argentina; analysis of major newspapers and current events; introduction to Argentine music and cinema, among other topics. Lectures are complemented by cultural visits, cooking classes, and other engaging learning activities.
Students must take an online written placement test in order to determine their initial level of Spanish. The grade obtained in this course will be included in the student´s official transcript.

Audience
