If you're a nurse or other healthcare professional, working in a first contact or emergency care setting, this module will provide you with advanced decision-making skills, theoretical knowledge and advanced practical skills to work autonomously when caring for patients with a minor injury. General requirements
- You’ve been a registered nurse for two years and have been working for at least six months in a first contact, emergency or urgent care setting.
- You'll have a first class degree, or equivalent, and must be recommended for this course by your manager.
- Your clinical practice placement must be supported by an appropriately experienced/qualified advanced practitioner, agreed in advance by your manager and the course tutor
