Careers
Good statistical knowledge is essential when planning and conducting scientific research. Statistical analysis is also necessary for an accurate interpretation of the research results. Maastricht University - Center for European Studies' Regression analysis course offers an introduction to the statistical techniques used to determine intervention effects and group effects, while correcting for potential confounding variables. It also offers participants the opportunity to practice these methods using SPSS.
Programme Structure
- This knowledge is necessary for analysing the results obtained from the participant's own research. It also helps participants to evaluate the results of other published research and understand the relevance of these results for their own disciplines.
