Overview
The aim of this Furnishing the Landscape - Architectural Summer Camp is that these collective efforts to reimagine the present environment by revisiting older and more traditional ideas will help to coalesce the combined notions of industry and craft, multiple and bespoke, and poetic and practical.
In this programme, Architectural Association will seek to playfully explore and materialise artefacts to lay over the woodland's current topography. The programme will contribute to the outdoor dining area at the heart of Hooke Park.
Insurance
All participants are responsible for their own insurance including travel and health insurance. All participants also need to ensure that any equipment and valuable items such as laptops are covered by their own insurance as the AA takes no responsibility for items lost or stolen.
Programme Structure
- Building on a series of material fabrication experiments, participants will work solely with locally-harvested timber and clay to emphasise the opportunities offered by the mixed use of digital and analogue fabrication techniques.
