About the course
This training is enhanced with lots of different business scenarios as well as practical tools. Participants will also gain an understanding of the European model for privacy enforcement, key privacy terminology and practical concepts concerning the protection of personal data and trans-border data flows.
On this Certified Information Privacy Professional - Europe course at Singapore Management University, participants will be prepared for the IAPP CIPP/E examination. Participants who wish to pursue the certification may sit for the examination offered separately by IAPP after this training course.

Who should attend:
- Heads of Department, Data Protection Officers, Compliance Managers or professionals with data protection responsibilities as well as those responsible for handling personal data, e.g., Finance, Human Resource, Sales and Marketing, IT, Customer Services.
As this is not a foundation course, participants are expected to have:
- good knowledge of data protection; and
- tertiary level qualifications; and/or
- at least 2 years of working experience
