What you will learn
At the end of the Energy Storage for Green Technologies course offered by National University of Singapore, the participants will be able to:
- Present characteristics such as storage capacity and power capabilities.
- Understand various components and working principles of electrochemical and electrical storage technologies including redox flow, Na-S, Li-ion batteries and supercapacitors.
- Address the factors affecting the performances of Li-ion battery deployed in various sectors including electric vehicles, stationary energy storage systems, aerospace and marine and finally illustrate a few failure modes causing safety issues.
