- Demonstrate person centred approach that might be used to prevent and manage delirium episodes
- Demonstrate effective communication skills when interacting and understanding the needs of people with delirium
- Define sepsis and its relevance to practice
- Recognise signs of potential sepsis in a deteriorating service user
- Develop awareness of the ‘Sepsis Six’ care bundle and its significance
