Key facts
University of Strathclyde's Taking Your Watercolour Painting Further is a structured class for those with some experience of using watercolours. Botanical studies, townscapes/landscapes are some of the subjects that combine drawing and observational skills with the use of colour. Tonal and linear perspective is taught as well as best painting practice.
Programme Structure
- You will be encouraged to explore and combine traditional and contemporary watercolour approaches. It is recommended that you complete either ‘Stage 1 Drawing and Painting’ or ‘Learn to Paint Using Watercolours’.
