Key facts
University of Strathclyde's Photograph File Management with Photoshop Elements class will look at where images are stored either on a computer or external hard drive, the different file types used to identify images and the folder structure used to store them. Using the Organizer section of the software you will learn how to download images and import images already stored on your computer, how to 'quickly find' images using folders and albums or a ranking system, understand what metadata i.e. to see the camera settings and the date photographs were taken. Although the class uses Photoshop Elements, the process used will give an understanding of how other image management software work.
