This Introduction to Bookbinding course offered by Kingston University is a one-day course for anyone who wants to learn to make handcrafted books using traditional tools and techniques. During the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to fold and manipulate paper by learning three versatile book structures.
Participants will learn an accessible, inexpensive way to produce their own sketchbooks, gifts, or artists' books. This introduction also aims to provide the practical knowledge to start a self-publishing project.
