Overview
What you will study
Participants of the Music - Studio and DAW Operations course offered by Kingston University will receive functional training in professional production softwares Avid Pro Tools, Logic Pro and Ableton Live. You will learn how to operate hardware and software to record, edit, mix, master and remix music and sound across five days of intensive training. On completion of the five days, participants will be able to confidently operate industry-standard recording softwares to create and edit music and sound (DAW operations). You will be able to use professional hardware in a studio including outboard equipment (sound engineering) and be confident in setting up a recording studio for recording purposes (sound engineering & production). As well as providing invaluable studio expertise this course completion of this course can also be used to support applications to music technology courses at Kingston School of Art.

- Avid Pro Tools: recording & editing audio
- Sound engineering in Visconti Studio
- Editing audio in Pro Tools and Logic Pro
- Creative sound design using Ableton Live
- Mixing, mastering and remixing with Logic Pro and Ableton Live
