The Employment Law course offered by University of New Brunswick is designed to familiarize you with the legal issues related to employee-employer relationships and how laws impact human resources management.

• Become familiar with the fundamental employment laws which bind every employer and employee in NB

• Minimize liability to their employer prior to the commencement of the employment relationship with an employee

• Minimize liability to their employer throughout the employment relationship of the employee

• Minimize liability on termination of the employment relationship of the employee

• Become familiar with the fundamental components of the Employment Standards legislation
