What you will study
The Traumas and Cognitive Approaches for Autism program covers offered by University of New Brunswick practical cognitive-behavioural strategies that help individuals in this population better understand and manage emotions such as anxiety, anger, symptoms of depression and PTSD. The cognitive-behavioural approach is based on restructuring ideas, perceptions and responses (behaviours) related to emotions and sensations.

- Learn about diagnosis and the potential of individuals on the spectrum
- Gain awareness of stressors and the different traumas
- Explore the appropriate tools and interventions
- Gain skills to prevent crises and develop adaptive approaches

- Learn how to prioritize the maintenance of learning in different environments
