Key facts
The aim of this course is to provide support to Pre-Registration Nurses, Registered Nurses, Nursing Associates and Trainee Nursing Associates looking for their first role in Primary Care or General Practice, helping you to develop skills and gain knowledge about working in the sector. This will support the workforce to be informed about making the transition into a great career in Primary Care or General Practice. Upon completion of this course, it is anticipated you will have a good understanding of working in a Primary Care organisation and will feel more confident about applying for a role in a General Practice. This will also provide a foundation to go on to develop the additional knowledge and skills required to become a fully competent Nurse or Nursing Associate in Primary Care or General Practice.
