The module is delivered in an intensive four-day block spread over one long weekend. The programme will equip you to move into more senior management positions, either in your own organisation or moving elsewhere.The Management of Change module will introduce students to organisational change and its significance for organisations. Students will be exposed to the multiple perspectives, models and analytical frameworks for analysing organisational change, and how change can be managed. Success in the management of change is perhaps best achieved by understanding how NOT to change an organisation.

Programme Structure
Courses include:
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the imperatives for, and scope of organisational change: why change happens and what is changed.
- Identify and evaluate the major perspectives used in analysing organisational change.
- Diagnose and critically evaluate the implications of a proposed change programme.
- Critically appraise the ways in which managers influence other employees in order to achieve desired change outcomes.
- Demonstrate a critical understanding of the general constraints on organisational change, and how these may be accommodated or circumvented.
- Critically analyse the difficulties faced by middle managers during change processes and explain approaches to overcoming these difficulties.

- Five years work experience with evidence of extensive managerial experience or professional responsibility. Three years exceptional work experience meeting this criteria will also be considered
