It’s through the influence of INLOGOV that you’ll learn to recognise and apply the principles of programme and project management – and how project management relates to overall programmes.After completing the 8-week course, you will receive an official University of Birmingham postgraduate micro-credential certificate (worth 10 academic credits) and a transcript. You will be able to use these academic credits to apply for advanced entry to the University of Birmingham’s full Online Masters of Public Administration (MPA) qualification.

- Analyse the strengths and limitations of different approaches to programme and project management and their suitability for different types of programmes (e.g. complex inter-agency and partner-based projects or single service projects)
- Manage the multiple human factors which impact on project and programme management: business, financial and political.
- Apply the necessary skills to enable the successful management of programmes and projects from design through risk assessment, implementation, monitoring and evaluation
- Apply an appropriate range of theories, techniques and frameworks
- Evaluate, learn and adapt as an integral part of programme and project management
