History
In May 1992, SPbU Economic Faculty Professor Yury V. Pashkus represented in front of Senate and Academic Council of The University the concept of the Faculty “School of Management”. In November the agreement with Haas School of Business was signed. On January 25 1993, Stanislav P. Merkuryev the rector of SPbU signed on order to open the faculty.

ARWU World University rankings is the first world university ranking. It ranks the world's top 1000 colleges and universities based on objective indicator. They look at the number of award-winning (Fields Medals and Nobel Prize) scientists who are located there, how much of their research is cited and referenced around the world, and how much they've contributed to different academic fields. After calculating and comparing these criteria, ARWU ranks the universities accordingly.
Student services
GSOM has launched online education support service for faculty, staff and students. This service aims to support usage of Microsoft Teams in educational purposes. GSOM IT specialists are handling all the requests quickly and carefully.
Housing services
Travel and accommodation costs will not be covered by the organizers. Participants willing to participate should cover their own costs.
Library services
The Contemporary Library Business Model Competition was carried out by Graduate School of Management Library. It was planned as a part of the European Business Schools Librarians' Group Conference 2014, held by the Graduate School of Management SPbU on June 16-19, 2014.
Campus life
The Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University has two campuses with rich history. The first one is a historical building in the very heart of St. Petersburg, on Vasilievsky Island, near the Twelve Collegia Building, the administrative building of St. Petersburg University and other sights of the Northern Venice.
Graduate School of Management SPbU is a recognized leader in Russian business education, which is reflected in its obtaining such international accreditations as EQUIS, AMBA, ACA.
