The King's University

History

In 2013, The King’s University celebrated a landmark year with the inauguration of the institution’s fourth President, Dr. Melanie J. Humphreys. A gifted and strategic leader, Dr. Humphreys took office on July 2, 2013 following a lengthy search process led by a team of King’s faculty, staff, students, Senate, and Board of Governors members.

Education

Refined liberal arts programs expose students to new ideas and interconnected disciplines. Programs are taught by world-class and national award-winning professors and prepare students well for future careers and graduate programs. King's boasts of a 94% student post graduation employment rate!

Housing services

If you're considering a move to Edmonton to attend King's, or looking to move out for the first time, King's residence is a great place to live. There's always something going on in Residence and our Student Life team is excited to support you however we can. We're passionate about creating an environment where you belong, know you're safe, and feel supported. Whether you're a student with a strong independent streak, or someone looking for a little more structure and support as you move out on your own, living in residence will plug you into one of the most special communities in the city!
