Overview
This Introduction to Character Design course is taught at CDW Studios at Flinders University, where many of the workshops use the principles taught in character design, including perspective, anatomy, drawing construction, drawing simple forms in 3D space, colour, design principles, storytelling and drawing in Photoshop.
Structure and assessment
This 12 week online course consists of:
12 weekly pre-recorded lectures & demonstrations that will guide you step by step through your projects
Live fortnightly 3hr feedback webinars where you will receive feedback on your progress. If you cannot attend the session in person you can watch the recorded feedback sessions in your own time
6 assignments over the course of 12 weeks (one submitted each fortnight, prior to feedback session)

- Basic rendering with colour to create a finished character.
